TRUMP & GENERALS

Trump has a thing for generals. He routinely refers to them as “my generals” and brags about them looking like they’re from “central casting.” Kelly was the third general the president named to a senior position after Secretary of Defense James Mattis—who had served so recently that he required a special waiver from Congress in order to take the job—and National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who Trump reportedly asked to wear his uniform to work despite the fact Flynn had retired from the service. (The retired Kelly also does not wear his uniform to the workplace.) When Flynn was forced to resign over contacts with Russia, Trump replaced him with another general, H.R. McMaster, who has the advantage of still being in the military, meaning he can wear his uniform around the office.

Military affairs is the one realm in which Trump is occasionally willing to admit some level of ignorance. He has openly said the generals should go about their businesswithout consulting him, since they know more than he does. (Perhaps this is atonement for his claim on the campaign trail to “know more about ISIS than the generals do.”)

Given the president’s love of men in uniform, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see another general take over the Homeland Security post that Kelly has now vacated, or even take the top spot at the State Department considering how things are looking with Rex Tillerson.

Despite Trump’s professions of love and admiration for his generals and his claim that he’s giving the military “total authorization,” the president doesn’t always seem to care about what they have to say. He ignored Mattis’ plan for fighting ISIS for months. He’s widely known to be frustrated with McMaster, particularly the national security adviser’s desire to commit more troops to Afghanistan. And despite his claim that he’d decided to ban transgender people from the military after consultation with “my generals,” the Pentagon had no idea the announcement was coming. Mattis was apparently only informed the day before and was on vacation. Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Joseph Dunford says he’s not going to implement the ban until he receives an official order.

Before Kelly moves into his new role, then, particularly given that his new brief will involve more than just national security issues, he should keep in mind that Trump is often less interested in heeding his generals’ wisdom than he is in using them as props

he 4th of August Regime (Greek: Καθεστώς της 4ης Αυγούστου, Kathestós tis tetártis Avgoústou), commonly also known as the Metaxas Regime (Greek: Καθεστώς Μεταξά, Kathestós Metaxá), was an authoritarian regime under the leadership of GeneralIoannis Metaxas that ruled the Kingdom of Greece from 1936 to 1941. It took its name from a self-coup carried out by Metaxas, with the support of King George II, on 4 August 1936. Metaxas presided over a conservative authoritarian and staunchly anti-communist government, the regime took inspiration in its symbolism and rhetoric from Fascist Italy, but never developed into a fully-fledged fascist dictatorship, and retained close links to Britain and France, rather than the Axis powers. Lacking a popular base, after Metaxas’ death in January 1941 the regime hinged entirely on the King. Although Greece was occupied following the German invasion of Greece in April 1941 and the Greek government was forced into exile in the Middle East, several prominent figures and features of the regime, notably the notorious security chief Konstantinos Maniadakis, survived for several months in cabinet until the King was forced to dismiss them in a compromise with the representatives of the old democratic political establishment.

Georgia Guidestones

The Georgia Guidestones is a granite monument erected in 1980 in Elbert CountyGeorgia, in the United States. A set of 10 guidelines is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages, and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient language scripts: BabylonianClassical GreekSanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Chinese and Arabic inscriptions of the Georgia Guidestones

Coordinates 34°13′55″N 82°53′40″W
Location Elbert County, Georgia, US
Material Granite
Height 19′ 3″ (5.87 m)
Opening date March 1980

The monument stands at an approximate elevation of 750 feet above sea level, about 90 miles (140 km) east of Atlanta, 45 miles (72 km) from Athens, and 9 miles (14 km) north of the center of the city of Elberton.

One slab stands in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lies on top of the five slabs, which are astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provides some notes on the history and purpose of the Guidestones. The structure is sometimes referred to as an “American Stonehenge“.[1] The monument is 19 feet 3 inches (5.87 m) tall, made from six granite slabs weighing 237,746 pounds (107,840 kg) in all.[2] The designer and meaning of the Guidestones are unknown, leading to speculation and conspiracy theory.

Explanatory tabletEdit

An explanatory tablet is set alongside the stones

A few feet to the west of the monument, an additional granite ledger has been set level with the ground. This tablet identifies the structure and the languages used on it, lists various facts about the size, weight, and astronomical features of the stones, the date it was installed, and the sponsors of the project. It also speaks of a time capsule buried under the tablet, but spaces on the stone reserved for filling in the dates on which the capsule was buried and is to be opened have not been inscribed, so it is uncertain if the time capsule was put in place.

The complete text of the explanatory tablet is detailed below. The tablet is somewhat inconsistent with respect to punctuation, misspells the word “pseudonym”, and incorrectly uses the adjective “hieroglyphic” as a plural noun. The original spelling, punctuation, and line breaks in the text have been preserved in the transcription which follows (letter case is not). At the top center of the tablet is written:

Immediately below this is the outline of a square, inside which is written:

Let these be guidestones to an Age of Reason

Around the edges of the square are written the names of four ancient languages, one per edge. Starting from the top and proceeding clockwise, they are: Babylonian (in cuneiform script), Classical GreekSanskrit and Ancient Egyptian (in hieroglyphs).

Astronomical featuresEdit

The four outer stones are oriented to mark the limits of the 18.6 year lunar declination cycle.[9] The center column features a hole drilled at an angle from one side to the other, through which can be seen the North Star, a star whose position changes only very gradually over time. The same pillar has a slot carved through it which is aligned with the Sun’s solstices and equinoxes. A 7/8″ aperture in the capstone allows a ray of sun to pass through at noon each day, shining a beam on the center stone indicating the day of the year.[2]

Elbert County, GA — The Georgia Guidestones, which is a mysterious granite monument erected in the early 1980s that contains a set of 10 guidelines in eight modern languages, has been stolen according to Elbert County Sheriff officials. What baffles investigators is how anyone one could have moved the 200 ton slabs without anyone noticing.

“Someone or something came in late last night and took them,” said Elbert County Sheriff Shayne Heap speaking in an early morning press conference. “Those things are really heavy and it would take a large crew and heavy machinery to move them. We also have no motive in the crime, but there always has been a lot of mischief around the Stones.”

In June 1979, a man using the self-professed pseudonym Robert C. Christian approached the Elberton Granite Finishing company on behalf of “a small group of loyal Americans”, and commissioned the structure. Mr. “Christian” explained that the stones would function as a compass, calendar and clock, and should be capable of withstanding catastrophic events.

A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. The 10 message say:

  1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  2. Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
  3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
  4. Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
  5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
  7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
  9. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
  10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

Over the years, many have attempted to interpret the meaning and purpose of the Stones. Yoko Ono has praised the inscribed messages as “a stirring call to rational thinking”, while Wired Magazine stated that unspecified opponents have labeled them as the “Ten Commandments of the Antichrist.” Conspiracy theorists like North San Juan’s Skyy Wolford has a different opinion about their meaning, and why they were stolen.

“Yeah, they’re not good,” said Mr. Wolford out in front of the Sierra Super Stop in North San Juan, CA. “It’s clearly a message from global elites that they plan on reducing the human population down to a manageable size. They weren’t ‘stolen’; they are being moved to a safer location, is my guess. We’ll see them again real soon.”

According to Sheriff Heap, the investigation has expanded to include the FBI and several self-appointed “guardians” who showed up in Elberton today.

Brett Williams asked:

“Why is this the only website that knows this has happened?” (Journalists of “Nevada News?”)

Because the puzzle ends in Nevada, Hoover Dam. Its complicated esoteric symbol language linked to the Bible Chapter Job 38 & angelic/alien messengers. Believe it or not. Its DEEPER than sheeple think!

Missing Georgia Guidestones Reappear in Derry, New Hampshire

The previous stolen and assumed missing Georgia Guidestones reappeared on the Don Ball baseball field in Derry, New Hampshire earlier today.

The previously stolen and assumed missing Georgia Guidestones reappeared on the Don Ball baseball field in Derry, New Hampshire earlier today.

Derry, NH — The Georgia Guidestones, which is a mysterious granite structure erected in the early 1980s containing a set of 10 guidelines in eight modern languages, went missing as reported earlier this week. Elbert County, Georgia officials suspected foul play but had no conclusive evidence about the nature of the strange monument’s disappearance. Early this morning, the Derry, New Hampshire police department began to get a series of bizarre phone calls from concerned citizens that a collection of large stone tablets had appeared in the area’s Don Ball baseball field.

“When we arrived at the ball park this morning, there it was,” said Derry resident Davlin Colerino. “I mean, what can you say about it? We had no idea what it meant. But I can tell you, we, like everyone else there just wanted to play ball. A lot of the kids were really upset.”

It’s unclear how or why the famous Guidestones reappeared in the home town of Robert Frost, but according to local North San Juan, CA conspiracy researcher Skyy Wolford, it makes perfect sense.

“Look,” said a mood-elevated Mr. Wolford speaking out in front of the Sierra Super Stop on Highway 49, “there’s a message here. And that message is from the globalists about some big event. So they’re there in Derry this week. Where will they be next week? Answer? It doesn’t matter. It’s the fact that they’re in the news that matters. And the globalists are planning to implement their population reduction plan soon. I mean, it’s the number one commandment on the stones.”

In June 1979, a man using the self-professed pseudonym Robert C. Christian approached the Elberton Granite Finishing company of Georgia on behalf of “a small group of loyal Americans”, and commissioned the structure. Mr. “Christian” explained that the stones would function as a compass, calendar and clock, and should be capable of withstanding catastrophic events.

A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. The 10 messages say:

  8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
  9. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
  10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

Derry authorities are trying to figure out what to do about the Guidestones, since they’re taking up valuable park space. Local police investigators have reached out to Elbert County government officials for guidance on what to do with them.

“These things weigh tons,” said Chief of Police Edward Garon. “We called the fire department to see what they could do, and they couldn’t do anything. We even had some heavy equipment out here this afternoon, but these stones were too heavy to move. When I talked to the Sheriff in Elbert County, he just laughed and said ‘well maybe they’ll just find their way back to Georgia eventually.’”

But Derry residents plan on making the best of the situation, like they always do. Recent area transplant progressive guitar player Robert Fripp plans on holding a benefit concert this weekend to raise funds to help move the monument.

1980, the stones were finished. They carry a tablet in front proclaiming, “Let these be guidestones to an Age of Reason.” Engraved in the stones are ten guidelines meant to re-establish the planet and society, perhaps after an apocalypse. They are written in eight different languages, English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian, and among other commandments preach to:

– Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

– Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.

– Balance personal rights with social duties.

– Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature.

The guidestones also serve as an astronomical calendar, and every day at noon the sun shines through a narrow hole in the structure and illuminates the day’s date on an engraving. The names of four ancient languages are inscribed on the sides near the top: Babylonian cuneiform, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian Hieroglyphics. Additionally an instructional tablet at the site speaks of a time capsule buried underneath the surface, though the dates on which the capsule was buried and when it is to be re-opened are missing. Whether this is intentional or the capsule was never buried is unknown.

The Guidestones continue to be a point of controversy. Conspiracy theorists and fundamentalists believe them to be the work of Satanists or the New World Order, – fueled particularly by certain commandments such as “Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity” which can be ominously interpreted – and the guidestones have been seriously vandalized by such conspiracy theorists. Others believe them to be a message of wise prophecy, possibly the work of an eccentric man of science.

However, if the past thirty years are any indication, we may never know who built them besides what is engraved on the guidestones itself: “Sponsors: A Small Group of Americans Who Seek The Age Of Reason”

Joaquin Navarro-Valls — a suave, silver-haired Spaniard who was a close confidant of Pope John Paul II and served for more than two decades as chief Vatican spokesman — has died at the age of 80.

Manuel Sanchez, spokesman for the Opus Dei movement in Rome, of which Navarro-Valls was a member, said he died Wednesday after a long illness.

Navarro-Valls was fiercely loyal to John Paul, accompanying the Polish pope on most of his 104 international trips. He also performed delicate diplomatic missions, such as helping to prepare the pope’s historic pilgrimage to Cuba.

Known for his coolness and restraint, Navarro-Valls nearly broke into tears when John Paul was dying in April 2005. He choked up and walked out of a conference room when a German reporter at a briefing on the pope’s condition asked him how he personally felt.

“I was trying to keep my emotions in check, but then a reporter asked how I was experiencing the passing of the pope personally, and I couldn’t control myself,” he explained later.

Navarro-Valls, who spoke four languages, was a foreign correspondent for the Spanish newspaper ABC when John Paul offered him the job as director of the Vatican press office. He was the first journalist to hold the post.

He was a lay member of the conservative Catholic movement Opus Dei, an order much favored by the pope, but Navarro-Valls always insisted the fact that he was president of Rome’s Foreign Press Assn. at the time weighed heavily in his hiring at the Vatican.

Navarro-Valls was credited with bringing computer technology to the press office, promoting the use of multiple languages in the Italian-centric press operation and giving journalists better access — making him the perfect press aide for a pope known for his media savvy.
